Fast and Loose Watercolor
Beginning January 12: 7 Tuesdays (January thru February) 2021, 1 – 3 pm Central
If you are tired of looking at your realistic depictions of your painting subject, if you love other painters’ work because of its fresh, bold strokes I dare you to paint with me in January.
The goal of this class is to paint A LOT. We will have many timed, quick sessions. We will be doing blind contour painting and drawing. The objective is to see how gestural our marks might become if we get out of our own way!

Designing in Acrylics: Unique Methods to Create Abstraction. 4 Weeks Oct 15-Nov 5
Hosted by Watercolor Art Society-Houston.
We will explore several unique methods of creating non-representational designs that will provide you many ideas for your future paintings. Our goals are to emphasize bold shapes and values, color and texture using multimedia and collage. You may work on canvas or paper, at least 9 x 12” but preferably larger. Homework will be suggested but not required. Please note unique supply list for these 4 classes.
